Italy Observatory in the International Technology Competition

To evaluate the performance and innovation potential of Italy’sindustrial system considering the international and local contexts, ENEA has created an Observatory on Italy in the international technology competition with a dual objective: facilitate knowledge and skills transfer to the production system and provide know-how support targeted at those institutions differently involved in addressing, monitoring and implementing the technology innovation interventions.

While identifying the most significant steps characterizing the evolution of global processes, the Observatory promotes insight activities in specific areas highly competitive for Italy, also with a view to possible future ENEA research scenarios and focuses.

The constant monitoring of innovative sectors based on globally set criteria and guidelines also allows to make relations with the national industry and business associations easier, also in order to promote common research activities.
